I HAVE 60 FOLLOWERS.....YAAAAAAY!!

BUT............I'm gonna keep you guessing for a little while, because I haven't taken a photo of the goodies, yet....so you'll have to comne back to hear about the deal..........deal?

It's been a rare old blustery day, again, with a few sunny spots, but the wind is workin' up to a right old gale....good job I don't have to go anywhere except Church, in the morning....ha!
I have had a lovely, quiet day, all by myself........bliss.........Ken is in London, working at Lords Cricket ground, all our girls were busy with their families, Mark and his family were at home (30 miles away from me), and Jonathan, Tanys and Bevan are in Northern Ireland until Tuesday, visiting family....just me and ol' Bonnie....as I said - bliss!
So, after doing some tidying, cleaning out Babbit's hutch, vacuuming the living room and dining room, cleaning the front porch, and putting in some laundry.....oh....and a fifteen minute gab with a neighbour on my lane......guess where I went?
Yep....up to my crafty ickle den, and worked on my Design Team card, for Wednesday.
Can't show that yet....but I also made another card, using the sketch from Totally Gorjuss again.
The supplies I used were freebies from a magazine.....oooooh.......that's not like me, is it?.....haaaaaa!!
Cute, or what?
All I did was cut out the images from the freebie sheet, add some of my own diecut leaves, inked around the edges of everything, and used the layout from my previous Autumn Colours card, which was originally a sketch from Totally Gorjuss.........
The colours are soft and pretty (like moi...ha!), and my photo doesn't do justice to the original........
Even the sentiment came as a freebie....sorry Birdie....I can't believe you don't get free goodies in your craft mags in the USA! I would have a hard time making as many cards as I do without regular freebies!!
The leaves are cut from my Createables dies....love 'em........
And now this ickle creation will be added to my waiting pile of cards that need to be sent off in the post.....not going to venture out in that wind, though.........Haaaaa!

Eeek a mouse!! I don't like them much in real life (LOL, I don't stand on a chair though)but they make real cute cards. Yours looks very happy amongst the strawberries,fab freebies and you did them credit!

Copperknob, that is one cute card there. Had to take a peek as first glance it looks like those cheeks are shaped and stuffed, maybe with strawberries. My kind of color palette too. Guess since my mags don't come with freebies, I'll just have to keep coming here to see what's new in the craft world. Am I allowed to tut sigh?

Super fab card, Anne-Marie. I like everything about it (and nothing wrong with using those nice freebies -- that's what they send them for). No, the US mags don't provide the nice freebies that the UK pubs do (which is why I haunt my bookstore monthly to get what I can, and even paid the rediculously high exchange rate to get a subscription for one -- not to mention I like the cards better in the UK features). Looking forward to Wed. to see your latest lovely.
