Hello, and welcome!
How are you all doing, then? Some of you seem to be pretty quiet on your blogs....are you hidin' from me? Hopefully, not.......and I hope you are all okay......I worry about you!
Don't know if I've ever mentioned that I have two sisters........most of you will know about my youngest sister, Roseanne.....but there's another one....and two brothers.....and me...haaaa!
My half-brother, James, is the eldest....he's 2 years older than me; then me; John comes next, 17 months younger; Catherine is 5 years younger than me; Roseanne is the baby and is almost 14 years younger than me.....I think she was a "surprise"...haaaaa!
Anyway, the point is my sister, Catherine, has a birthday tomorrow.........nope, won't tell you how old.....okay then, you twisted my arm....heehee......she's 56....and I'm safe because she doesn't read my blog....and I can run faster than she can...ha!
Catherine (she's never Cath, Cathie or Cate) has MS, and has recently had heart surgery, but nothing stops her! She loves her holidays, parties.......and shopping! For clothes....and shoes.....and bags...haaa!
And here's the card I made for her........
I started with a black card base, and added a piece of spotty paper from my stash. I'd bought a pack of the Papermania Capsule die cuts on Saturday...loved the black and white ones, but they come in many colours, and I'm going back for more, lol.......Some of the pieces are already glittered, but I added the lilac Martha Stewart glitter glue to this scalloped piece. I cut two background labels.....one from white card, and the other from black, and topped with the cute Bugaboo freebie image....all coloured up with Promarkers.....
I stuck to tones of pink and lilac, and added a bit of sparkle with a lilac sparkle pen......
The large spotty flower is from the Papermania Capsule range, and the smaller white ones are from my stash....coloured the large pearl to match the theme, with a Sharpie.......
First outing for my new Memory Box Spring Border die.....love it!
And we're done!
After taking the photo, I added a pocket on the inside, because I'm adding a voucher for Catherine to buy a new book to download to her Kindle.....and I can nick it off her when she's done...haahaa!
Hugs,
Anne-Marie x
