Hi, and welcome!
It's the weekend....yaaaaay!
That means I get a day of working on Hannah's quilt, tomorrow.......Leigh-Anne and I have started to spend a few hours working on our quilts, the first Saturday in each month, and I am determined to get Hannah's done before I start another project.....and with all the gorgeous fabric I brought back from New York, I'm chompin' at the bit.....haaaaa!
Sunday morning will be spent at Church, and it's not my week to teach, so that means I can just relax, and soak it all up.....then an hour or two of helping 8 year old Taylor to make a set of birthday cards to give to her friends........luverly!
Mam's birthday, and I went around, as arranged with her, to give her a card and the gold earrings I bought for her, in New York........and she'd gone out! Had decided to treat herself to a pair of new boots, and had forgotten I was coming.....haaaa! I had to go back, this afternoon, and she fell asleep!
On to business.......
It's another challenge at Card Crafter's Circle and this week it's
WOW! WHITE ON WHITE
Yep, we want to see your white layers, embellishments, etc..........but colour is allowed on your image.
Our sponsor is
The randomly drawn winner will receive 2 sheets of Linnie's gorgeous images .........that's 8 images!.......I kid you not......
And here's my card, using the delightful Winter Cloak
This is my first white-on-white card.....had to keep checkin' that my hands were clean....haaaa!
Isn't this a simply beautiful image? It was a lot of fun to colour....usual Promarkers.......
The central flower is Marianne's (two different dies), with a button and dinky pearls, set inside an embossed frame........
I used a piece of pretty white lace (bought from Walmart in New York!), and used an offcut from the embossed background, folded over and pinned with a saftey pin, on which I'd added pearly beads......
I'd seen a bloggy friend use this pretty lamp die, and loved the look of it, so now it lives with me....haaaa! It's another Marianne's, and I added white glitter to the back........
So, now it's your turn!
You never know....you might be the winner of 8 fabulous images!
Hugs,
Anne-Marie x
