Hi, and welcome!
You are a bunch of soft-hearted lovelies, aren't you?
Thank you all so much for cheerin' me up when I was moanin' about being a bit "browned off", and I am feeling sooooo mjuch better!
Don't know what comes over me, sometimes...lol....but all is fine and dandy, once again.
In fact, today I've had a rare day out with the Hubster....we only went for a nosey around Marks 'n' Spencer at Handforth Dean, but I came away with 3 new tops....yep......three......and they cheered me up, no end! Okay, I know I shouldn't fall for the ol' Retail Therapy thingy......but I did.....and it worked....so, no complaints from me...haahaa!
I also got a sweet and pretty little notebook from TKMaxx, to keep in my bag.......I'm always scribblin' down random thoughts and ideas, so always like to have a notebook to hand....and a pretty pen......my favourite is a fountain pen that my Dad gave me, a few Christmases ago.....his last gift to me........
And.........the Hubster challenged me to do something...........
Well, you know me....can't resist a challenge..........
I've gained quite a lot of weight since I've been on the anti-cancer meds, and really have struggled to get some off.......not happening as well as I'd hoped.......so here's the challenge........
Hubster says he will fund a whole new wardrobe of clothes and shoes if I can lose 14 pounds (1 stone) by 6th September.....that's the day that I officially become a Senior Citizen......aaggghhhh!!
That's five weeks today.
I can and I will....watch this space!
Here's a happy little girlie card for your delectation.......
This little girlie is Wryn from Tiddly Inks........she's sittin' pretty with her little posy.......aawww.......I used a brown card base and layered with freebie papers....distressed 'em up a bit and layered with more brown card.......
She's all coloured up with the usual suspects (PMs), and layered onto scalloped Nesties........
I wrapped some brown and pink ribbon around one of the card strips, then made a bow and sewed on a toning button........
A pretty embossed flutterby, cut with a die, and a pink flutterby sentiment from Craftwork Cards, inked in brown around the edge........simple!
No particular recipient for this little cutie....just felt like makin' it......lol.....
Hope your delectation buds were tickled!
Hugs,
Anne-Marie x

Anna-Marie sure hoping your make the challenge you hubby gave you. I am challenged too by my weight brought on by some meds for fibermyalgia. I don't want to go off them because it keep my pain level down but also makes me gain weight. My ailment is not as serious as cancer, will pray for you. One last thought, I think you have a wise husband who understands women...go for the challenge. Blessings
